Greenlight Financial Services Matches KFI 640 AM Radio's "Storm Aid" Relief Fund Raise of $81,000 Dollars For A Total Contribution of $162,000

(Irvine, Calif.) - October 11, 2006 - Greenlight Financial Services, the title sponsor, also took home second place for the fastest speed. Greenlight Financial Services, a leading direct-to-consumer mortgage lender, today announced the winner of the national Greenlight "Green Living" essay contest which promotes awareness and healthy and sustainable living. The winner, Andrew Hurvitz of Van Nuys, California, will receive $2500 in cash.

Greenlight Financial Services invited consumers nationwide to write about why it is "Good To Live Green" as it relates to protecting the environment in the home, office, school or auto. Entries of 500 words or less were judged on creativity, articulation and strength of theme.

"We received so many thoughtful, creative and articulate essays but Mr. Hurvitz's essay embraced the idea of personal responsibility when it came to green living and incorporating the idea of it into everyday life" said Joann Pham, CEO of Greenlight Financial Services. "It's important to us to create a dialogue with our customers on this very important issue of the environment and the concept of building 'Green.' Positive change comes through the flow of ideas and we hope that all our customers will embrace this issue and take part in saving the planet. "

"Thinking green is not only a personal and economic decision, but it is an imperative for human survival on this planet," said contest winner Mr. Hurvitz. "I must praise Greenlight Financial Services for showing us that business success and green values go together. Our homes and our families will be greatly blessed if we can create an environment that allows for personal growth, while living harmoniously in the natural world."

Driving awareness to environmental issues is an extension of Greenlight Financial Services' ongoing commitment to take a leadership role in responsible corporate citizenship. Greenlight is currently developing a "Green Loan Discount Program" designed to provide consumers a discount who take out loans for the purpose of buying, building or remodeling 'Green'. This is expected to launch in Q4. Past initiatives include Greenlight Financial Service's recent participation in the development of a paperless loan process, called "eMortgage" that will go a long way to save trees; sponsorship of the 2005 and 2006 "XGR Greenlight Gravity Racing Series," where teams race engineless eco-friendly cars, while providing temporary jobs and career training for teenagers in foster care; and discount loans on sustainable homes. GFS is headquartered in Irvine, CA.
(Irvine, CA.) - September 7, 2005 - Greenlight Financial Services, one of the real estate industry's fastest growing direct-to-consumer mortgage lenders, broke the record for most funds ever raised in one hour on KFI's "Storm Aid" relief fund raiser.

Last Thursday, KFI's "The John and Ken Show" held a special live fund raiser from the Ayres Hotel in Laguna Woods featuring KFI hosts, Dr. Laura, Bill Handel, John Ziegler and other personalities on the station to help victims of Hurricane Katrina and raised a record breaking $81,000 during the 5-6pm hour. Greenlight Financial Services matched this with an additional $81,000 for a grand total of $162,000.

"This is definitely the most we've ever raised for an event like this," said Edna Trager, a sales executive with Clear Channel Radio. "And a lot of it was in thanks to Greenlight Financial Services matching the funds." According to another station spokesperson,
KFI's past fund raisers have raised 10,000-15,000 dollars per hour.

"Greenlight Financial Services is pleased to play a role in these relief efforts. We feel it is important to support our fellow Americans during this difficult time. We have helped hundreds of thousands of Americans buy or refinance their homes - with this donation, we hope to help others in the stricken areas rebuild their homes," said Joe Bentivegna, President of Greenlight Financial Services.

A check for $81,000 will be presented on September 8th by Ellen Brownstein, Advertising Director at Greenlight Financial Services, during another live "Storm Aid" fund raiser hosted by "The John and Ken Show" live on KFI 640 AM from the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach from 3-7pm.
